One of my most interesting finds of this year was a UK hip-hop/R&B project called ‘The Silhouettes Project’. Usually, this kind of stuff isn’t really my cup of tea but for some reason, this specific song caught my interest. The Silhouettes Project is a project that focuses on young, upcoming (mainly) hip-hop/R&B talent from the London area. They released a moderately successful album in 2020, featuring over 25 different artists. This year, a tonne of singles towards the 2nd album got released, from which ‘Ends on my Back’ is my favourite so far. Chill, uplifting Brithop that focuses on life in the ‘ends’. Worth to be named one of my favourite finds of 2023.
