I was completely caught off guard when I decided to watch the video for Hak Baker’s ‘Brotherhood’ last week. Even though I did see Hak Baker perform during London Calling this year, I never listened to his music before. Especially because his live show was not all too interesting, I didn’t think much of ‘Brotherhood’ when it showed up on my screen. Much to my surprise, I was left dumbfounded after the video ended. What an absolute brilliant tune. I’m really sad I didn’t catch this one live during London Calling. If I would have, I’m sure this song would have made it to the playlist a long time ago already.
