Quite impressive how a song can sound exactly like its album cover looks: as if it’s recorded on a handheld Sony camera, at least 20 years old. Though a bit underproduced (although that’s probably what’s popular these days), on 2023 single ‘Dreams’, joe unknown shows his capability of writing a decent sad anthem. His debut album ‘For Better, For Worse’ didn’t quite make the waves some thought it was going to make. Maybe 2024 will give the Brit another chance of fulfilling his potential.
