There seems to be something going on that I can’t quite put my finger on as of yet. In recent years, it seems that some metal bands attract a very sudden, very large following. I feel like this started off with Turnstile a few years ago, and now there’s bands like Kublai Khan TX and Knocked Loose who all of a sudden seem to attract a big crowd of (it seems) mainly young people. Don’t get me wrong, they’re fine bands. They make decent music but not necessarily a lot different than other bands in the same genre. I wonder if this is just an internet thing (are these bands big on social media?) or if they just happen to be at the right place at the right time. Well, either way. I have found myself a Knocked Loose song that I like.
