I remember discovering The Scratch’s ‘Blaggard‘ last year and being quite blown away by it. I gave their 2023-release ‘Mind Yourself’ a spin but didn’t think much of it. I had kind of already forgotten about this band until about 4 weeks ago, when I attended my monthly music quiz. Much to my surprise, ‘Another Round’ was included in the quiz, although it took me almost 5 minutes to recognize the artist. I got it in the end, which means The Scratch most certainly has something to it that I should keep an eye out for. Also, I’m enjoying the kind of budget version of a Michel Gondry music video this lot put out.
