Cosmo’s Midnight’s ‘What Comes Next’ had been on my Discogs wantlist for quite a while already before it finally appeared for sale for a decent price. During the early days of Covid – it must’ve been April or May 2020 – some Australian seller made it available for me to buy and thus brighten up my lockdown days a little bit. As with plenty of records in my collection, I tend to not listen to them all too often. I just don’t always have time to put on a record and with Spotify just around the corner, you have to make choices. Either way, my point is: it was a lot of fun rediscovering this album during my packing adventures. A couple of songs off of ‘What Comes Next’ have made it into the playlist already, but this album is filled with spring-packed goodness, perfect for lovely sunny days like these.
