Those following this blog for a while now might be familiar with my interest in German music. Even though I have a record of Ivan Rebroff at home (don’t ask me how I got that one), I’m not all too keen on German folk or Schlager music. Instead, I would rather listen to some more modern artists like Danger Dan, iedereen, or hip-hop groups like Deichkind, Blumentopf, and K.I.Z. I recently purchased K.I.Z’s latest album ‘Rap über Hass’ which featured in my top 10 albums of 2021, so I will definitely be keeping an eye out for more new K.I.Z releases alongside ‘Applaus’.
