I only discovered Blood Youth last year, sadly after they had announced their hiatus already. The Leeds based metal band posted a ‘temporary goodbye’ message on X early 2023, stating that mental health issues had taken its toll after the pandemic. Absolutely sad. ‘Iron Lung’ is a fantastic song and I would love to witness this live one day.
