As you have probably figured by now, I serve plenty of extremes in the Jam of Today playlist. However, today’s subgenre isn’t featured all too much. In fact, hardcore electronic music is probably amongst the lesser represented styles in the entire playlist. I’ve talked about CJ Bolland’s ‘Sugar Is Sweeter‘ and ‘Tokyo’ before on the website and I remember also briefly mentioning today’s Jam ‘The Prophet’. Whereas the Belgian’s previous Jams are still leaning more towards the breakbeat side, today’s addition is a straight up 90s hard/tech trance banger. I suppose you could even go as far as marking it speed garage at times. A rarity in the playlist. But an absolute great classic worth adding for sure.
