It won’t get much more Japanese than this. The only record I really wanted to buy while I was in Japan, was Hanabie. or 花冷え。’s record ‘来世は偉人’ (‘Reborn Superstar!’). Sadly, I didn’t find the record I was after. If anything, I barely found any vinyl records at all! It caught me by surprise how CD still seems way more popular than its predecessor, the latter obviously regaining a bunch of terrain over the last 10 years or so. Well, at least it saved me the hassle of having to transport back records all the way back to Europe. Single ‘お先に失礼します。’ (‘Pardon Me, I Have To Go Now’) is a good representation of what this all-female metalcore quartet has in store for us.
