BMTH’s releases over the last decade have always been a bit hit or miss (mostly miss). The release of single ‘Kool-Aid‘ in January however, seemed to open some doors to a ‘new’ era of BMTH, one without keyboard player Jordan Fish. The group revolving around Oli Sykes has now released their latest album ‘POST HUMAN: NeX GEn’ and, well, it’s pretty alright. I would definitely say it’s better than most albums Bring Me The Horizon have released over the last few years. The song mostly standing out for me is ‘liMOusIne’, featuring Norwegian singer AURORA. This song seems to be clearly inspired by Sleep Token’s sound (they recently went on tour together, too), sharing a lot of similarities with many songs of the ‘mysterious’ metal group. Have a listen and let me know what you think.
