Our final day of this year’s 2000trees Festival marked quite a quiet one for us. Again, there weren’t that many bands that we were super interested in and therefore we were walking around from stage to stage trying to see what was on at the time. This did provide us with a few decent acts. However, our favourites were the ones we came for initially.
I was quite hyped to see Death From Above 1979 for the first time ever. I wasn’t aware of the fact they would play their entire 2005 debut album ‘You’re A Woman, I’m A Machine’ live from front to back, which was quite a nice surprise. Even though the Canadians weren’t the headliners this evening, they made a party like they were. The vibes were immaculate and pretty much the entire front half of the tent was jumping up and down when classics like ‘Romantic Rights’, ‘Little Girl’, and ‘Blood on Our Hands’ were blasted into the ears of the festival goers.
In chronological order, all acts I’ve seen live on the Saturday of 2000trees 2024:
– ’68
– Interlaker
– Dune Rats
– Swear Blind
– Every Hell
– Teenage Wrist
– Gouge Away
– cleopatrick
– Death From Above 1979
– Creeper
– DON BROCO
