Time to start the pre-fun for what will be our final festival of 2024: Haldern Pop. As every year, I’m making my way down to the village of Haldern in Germany for yet another music spectacle. This year’s line-up is proper decent, with Jam of Today favourites such as Fontaines D.C., Fat Dog, Chalk, and Yard Act on the bill. However, there’s plenty more goods to discover during the 3-day music fest. Time to meet 3 acts I’m looking forward to seeing this weekend.

Hailing from Croydon (my neighbouring borough!) there’s Lola Young, who I picked up on earlier this year with the release of her single ‘Wish You Were Dead’. My partner in particular really enjoyed this song, therefore playing it quite frequently in the Jam of Today household. It’s turned out to be quite the brainworm and seeing Lola Young at Haldern seems to be the perfect opportunity to introduce myself to the rest of her catalogue.
