#2324: unpeople – waste

Those that have been affiliated with Jam of Today for a while may know that I usually don’t include one and the same artist two days in a row. Well, technically, I am highlighting a different band than yesterday but, here’s the twist: unpeople features Press to MECO’s guitar/vocalist Luke Caley and its bass player, Jake Crawford, too. Therefore, yes. I have technically featured the same artist 2 days in a row now. So be it. unpeople is actually really great.

I first got to know this band at 2000trees this year, where after researching them for approximately 25 seconds I decided “Yes, this is good. Let’s check ’em out”. Well, that was a great choice. unpeople is a thrilling new band and its first EP (released on Sharptone!) is full of exciting alt. rock, definitely living up to the tiny hype surrounding them this year.
