This collaboration has everything in it to become one of my favourite Aussie match-ups of all time. Holy Holy used to be one of my favourite bands around 2015, after their release of debut album ‘When the Storms Would Come’ featuring beautiful songs such as ‘Outside of the Heart of It’, ‘You Cannot Call for Love Like a Dog’, ‘Impossible Like You’, and many more. CLEWS, of course, has been featured widely on this blog before and has been a very welcome guest in my listening habits over 2023/24. The two bands released ‘The Aftergone’ on Holy Holy’s 2021 album ‘Hello My Beautiful World’ which, to be fair, didn’t quite make it onto my radar. Maybe it deserves some more airtime in the Jam of Today household after all.
