The long awaited 4th album by Fontaines D.C. is HERE! I already got a preview of some new songs during their Haldern Pop show a couple of weeks ago, but I’m stoked the entire thing is now out in the open. Obviously, I have already listened to it a few times and I’m happy to say it’s another amazing album. As said, ‘Romance’ is the Irishmen’s fourth and for the fourth time, Fontaines D.C. manages to stay captivating by touching upon a new sound within the realm of post-punk. I’m very impressed how this band keeps on releasing refreshing albums and I hope they will continue to do so for many years to come. Is it too early to call Fontaines D.C. the biggest band within their genre of this generation? I think they have clearly proven themselves over the years.
