Me and the emo kids are still not over the fact that the holy grail of post-hardcore, Title Fight, are no longer. Some wounds will never heal, I guess. Either way, we’re trying to fill the void with bands like Ruined, who are doing a splendid job in continuing where the Kingston, Pennsylvania legends have left off. And, of course, there’s Glitterer, probably the closest we can get to actual Title Fight. Glitterer’s frontman and founder Ned Russin used to be their bassist after all. 2024 album ‘Rationale’ may only be 21,5 minutes long (it still features 12 songs!), it’s a worthy contender for a Top 10 spot in my End of the Year lists.
