I’m getting a new tattoo today. For someone that’s obsessed with music, it might surprise you that only 1 of my 9 tattoos are music related. However, today, we will add another one. My 10th tattoo will be inspired by a genre that has grasped me like none other has in recent years, and it’s one that you, as a trusty Jam of Today follower, will be very familiar with.

Swancore. My absolute #1 genre for a long while now. I don’t even have to reel off all the bands I have mentioned on the blog that qualify as swancore. It’s been so influential in my life in recent times that I decided to get it immortalized. I’m taking inspiration from one of many great swancore bands, Royal Coda, and more specifically their artwork. In combination with the inevitable swan, I will get a small piece dedicated to this fantastic yet niche music genre. For those interested in the end result, you will probably have to wait until you see me in real life. I’m not using any social media other than this weblog, so I probably won’t share any of it online.
