Sticking with the music quizzes for a bit longer. This tune was in the same quiz as yesterday’s Jam and really turned out to be one of my favourite (re)discoveries of the night. I’m not necessarily a CHVRCHES fan – nor do I dislike them – but I’m glad I got the chance to discover this song from 2021. What a brilliant collaboration between Lauren Mayberry’s band and Robert Smith, whose vocals work so well together on this melancholic masterpiece.
