Whenever someone asks me “Why did you move to London?”, my main answer is usually very simple: because of the music. Not only because being from Europe and working in the music industry means London is kind of the place to be, but also because every band under the sun will play a gig here at some point. Now, I think it’s safe to say that I know a lot of bands. Big, household names but also small and obscure ones. The fact that I’m now able to see some of these smaller bands live is simply everything I’d hoped for before moving here. Bicurious is a prime example. I don’t think it would’ve been as easy catching those guys live when I was still living in The Netherlands but here we are, within my first 6 months of living in the UK I already managed to see the duo live in London. And what a gig it was, last month in the Lexington!
