At the time of writing this, there’s only 2 more albums I’m properly looking forward to this year. The first one being Mud Whale’s ‘Humans Pretending To Be Human‘ (November 13th) and the other one being Tiny Moving Parts’ ‘Deep In The Blue’ (November 15th). Anything else will be a nice bonus, but I’m guessing the two emo rock albums mentioned here today will be my final contenders to join my End of Year lists. Tiny Moving Parts is one of these bands that I will never not enjoy listening to. I still vividly remember the first time I saw them live, as well as playing 2018 album ‘Swell’ on vinyl over and over again. Without being very aware of it, over the course of the last few years, this band may have just secured themselves a spot amongst my favourite bands of all time. I hold a lot of precious memories listening to this band and hearing their latest singles ahead of their new album just confirms the importance of this band to me.
