Alright, here’s my absolute final look back at 2024. It’s just been a crazy one for me. Some of the most exciting and thrilling moments of my life got countered by some proper scares and a whole bunch of stress and insecurity. As I’ve mentioned quite extensively during the December special and in particular while talking about Bicurious’ 2nd album ‘Your Life Is Over Now…’, my move to London meant a great deal to me. All in all, I’m so glad I experienced all the things I did in 2024. I genuinely feel like I was completely stuck in my same old routines back in The Netherlands. Today’s Jam by Luzern/London based band Laddermen describes it well: my life got pretty lame and I got very freaking bored. I’m glad I got out of my dull comfort zone and took it upon myself to explore new places and meet new people. I owe my new life in London a lot. Here’s to another exciting year!
