I thoroughly enjoyed the 2024 December special, but I’m also quite glad I now have some more freedom in choosing which song I want to highlight on the blog again. Since my Album of the Year list was fully set in stone already by the time December started, I exactly knew which songs would be uploaded on what day. Now I can go back to just dropping some of my favourite songs of the day here, such as this beautifully intimate My Bloody Valentine-cover off of Friko’s deluxe album.
