I only really started to appreciate this song while I was writing Tapir!’s piece for the December Special. It proved to be very difficult choosing between this one and the eventual Jam ‘On A Grassy Knoll (We’ll Bow Together)’ which I think in the end represented their concept album ‘The Pilgrim, Their God and The King of My Decrepit Mountain’ just a bit better. ‘Eidolon’, however, is a beautiful song which I happily still highlight on the blog.
