The first big swancore album of 2025 has been released! Eidola (featuring Dance Gavin Dance’s Andrew Wells and Sergio Medina) dropped ‘Mend’, their 2nd album in less than a year. It’s a great album, perhaps staring off a bit slow and insignificant but gradually turning into a great album. Especially from the beautiful ballad ‘Renaissance’ onwards, ‘Mend’ turns into a rock solid release that might not feature as much madness as we’ve heard in the past, but is absolutely worth a listen nonetheless. Today’s Jam ‘The Faustian Spirit’ is my favourite so far, though I’m sure I’ll give this many more spins throughout the year.
