Something truly unique happened the other day! For the first time, I re-added a release to my collection’s wantlist. EDEN’s breakthrough release ‘i think you think too much of me’ used to be on my Discogs wantlist for ages, but a few years ago I deleted it due to me never really listening to the album anymore, as well as the copies that were actually for sale being way too expensive. Well, on that latter topic: copies of the 2016 release are still really expensive. Even the 2024 re-release isn’t all too cheap anymore. However, I have in fact regained love for this record. Since EDEN’s songs ‘Fumes‘ (featuring gnash) and ‘XO‘ played on shuffle in the Jam of Today playlist quite a lot recently, I decided to give the full thing a spin again and fell in love with it once more. It’s an absolutely beautiful piece of pop music.
