Next to seeing The Devil Wears Prada on Thursday, I secured myself a ticket for a Love Is Noise gig, too. The grungy nu-metal act played deep down in the basement of this seemingly random cocktail bar near Oxford Street and I must say, I was pretty impressed with their set. As expected, they played many songs off of their latest album ‘To live in a different way’ (including my personal favourite!) which went down well in the cosy venue filled with cool people and amazing vibes. Perhaps I’ll share some more music by Love Is Noise this week, because today I simply need to highlight this song by Black Coast. The nu-metal act from Stoke-on-Trent played the second support slot last Saturday and I was properly amazed by what they carried out on stage. Genuinely, really good. Great musicians and a magnificent vocalist. I’m still familiarising myself with their discography but as of today, ‘Chains’ is the song that I’ve been playing on repeat ever since coming home from the gig. What a tune this is!
