I’ve always been a big fan of Aussie band PLTS’ 2015 tune ‘On & On‘. I once highlighted it on my former blog and every time I’ve heard it ever since made for a good time. When it played on shuffle in the playlist the other day, I got curious as to what ever happened to this band, and if they perhaps made more bangers like the aforementioned one. Well, it seems like 2019 was the final active year of PLTS, having released an EP featuring some very forgettable rock songs, with a slight exception for ‘Young Ones’ which has a strong mainstream Stereophonics meets Fatherson kind of vibe. A decent tune, though I think it’s a shame PLTS hasn’t released any more songs like ‘On & On’ which I genuinely still think is a great rock song.
