Alright, ok, 2025’s greatest albums are slowing starting to roll in. After listening to Eidola’s ‘Mend’ for a month, I can already conclude that one will probably end up amongst my favourites of this year. Same goes for the brilliant new album by Architects, ‘The Sky, The Earth & All Between’, of which I’ll probably share some music at some point this month. But my first real Album of the Year contender will be released on the 11th of April, when Italian prog. metal band Benthos will drop ‘From Nothing’. ‘As a Cordyceps’ is the latest release heading up to the album and again, it’s a fantastically frantic tune.
