“This didn’t age well” is probably all I should be saying about Bloodhound Gang’s 1996 album ‘One Fierce Beer Coaster’. However, I can’t ignore the fact that this album is probably one of my personal classics. I used to listen to this album throughout pretty much my entire childhood and even though I’m a bit more aware of the meaning of the lyrics now than when I was – let’s say – 5 years old, I still like this album quite a lot in the year that is 2025. I played this album during a train journey the other day for the first time in a while and had quite a blast, still remembering most words to the songs. Then again, most of the tunes on ‘One Fierce Beer Coaster’ (including this one) can be considered pretty offensive and didn’t quite stand the test of time so if you deem yourself to be a bit sensitive to that sort of music, then you probably want to skip this one.
