There’s more new metal! Not only did Sleep Token give us a taste of what’s to come, releasing their latest stunner ‘Emergence‘ ahead of their newly announced album ‘Even In Arcadia’ (May 9th), the best metalcore album of 2025 might have already been released in the form of Architects’ ‘The Sky, The Earth & All Between’. Released on the 28th of February, this album is simply brilliant and is close to reaching 10/10 points for me. Previously released singles like ‘Curse‘, ‘Seeing Red’, and ‘Whiplash’ were already of the highest quality, now that the album has been released in its fullest I can only say that this is a near perfect release. I’m yet to make up my mind on what will be my favourite songs off of ‘The Sky, The Earth & All Between’, but opener ‘Elegy’ surely is one of ’em.
