For those that missed it: Pulp is back! The classic Britpop act announced ‘More’, their first album in 24 years, to be released on the 6th of June. Much to my own surprise (I’ve never really been a big Pulp fan) I took quite an instant liking to ‘Spike Island’. It gave me a similar feeling as I had when Gorillaz released ‘Cracker Island’ (maybe it’s in the title) ahead of their (slightly disappointing) 2023 album carrying that same name, which filled me with a surprising sense of excitement. Curious to hear what else is in the Pulp-pipeline.
