Had a great weekend! Got my family over from The Netherlands and we popped down to the Independent Label Market (check ’em out!) held in London’s Coal Drops Yard, where we strolled past many great vendors selling stuff from their respective indie labels as varied as Domino and The state51 Conspiracy all the way back to Sacred Bones and Speedy Wunderground. Genuinely a great market which I can highly recommend going to (they’re present across the UK usually during the summer). I managed to pick myself up two great records but more on that tomorrow. We continued the Saturday by heading over to Camden’s Electric Ballroom where we witnessed Sorry play a great set. Me and my entourage were particularly impressed by the London band’s new and mostly unreleased songs ahead of their third album, of which ‘Waxwing’ is the lead single.
