Went through one of my many Spotify playlists featuring songs “(..) I need to listen to once more before I make my mind up whether I like ’em or not” the other day while traveling to The Netherlands last week and this one stood out as one of my favourites during that trip. I don’t know much about this Basel-based five piece but the ethereal synth-heavy dream pop tune ‘Never Mind’ instantly hit a home run for me. Sometimes you just have to be in the right place to enjoy certain songs, and that definitely was the case for this one. I’ve been listening to it quite a lot over the past few days and I can’t get enough of it. Given this song features on Moonpools’ 2024 EP ‘Hide and Seek‘, I’m hopeful we will welcome some new music of the Swiss band this year.
