July 11th will not only mark the day Split Chain will release their highly anticipated debut; Calva Louise is warming up to drop their 4th ‘Edge of the Abyss’ on this day, too. Safe to say this is another release I’m super excited for. ‘Aimless’ has become a recent favourite of mine by being some kind of weird blend between Nova Twins and SeeYouSpaceCowboy…. Oh, and add a bit of Spanish to the mix, too. Having taken a liking to most of the singles this band drop ahead of their new album, I’m expecting ‘Edge of the Abyss’ to be one of this year’s more interesting metal releases.
