I didn’t really mention anything about seeing Alexisonfire at 2000trees last week but I feel like it’s only right to at least give them a little bit of credit. It was my first time seeing the Canadian legends and, well. Crikey. That certainly was one hell of a show. I genuinely think their performance might be in my top 30 best performances I have ever seen. So tight. So clean. And the sound was so amazing, too. Absolutely fantastic. It doesn’t happen much these days that a band sounds as good (or maybe even better!) than they do on record. Also, it makes for a great opportunity to add another unmissable classic to the playlist.
