Sorry, got a few more 2000trees-related posts coming up. Nothing directly linked to this year’s edition, just quite generally blogposts with artists closely affiliated to the festival. Such as Jamie Lenman, who’s pretty much on every year’s bill and did a signing in the merch tent this year (which I didn’t attend but I accidentally found myself in the merch tent as this was happening nonetheless)! If the people are ever to point out one staple Trees artist, I’m sure the former Reuben-frontman would be the one. I never really listened to much of Jamie Lenman’s solo stuff so as soon as I returned from this year’s festival, I figured it would be time to give it a go. I played album ‘Devolver’ a few times and quite liked it! Especially songs ‘Hell in a Fast Car’ and ‘All of England Is a City’ are to my liking. I find myself still listening to it a solid 1,5 weeks after first picking it up which means it’s got potential to be played even more frequently here in the Jam of Today household. Hooray!
