Not too long ago, I found this forgotten 00s release by The Cure. Coming off of their self-titled twelfth album released in June of that year, ‘alt.end’ certainly won’t go into the history books as the band’s best song ever recorded. Yet, we’re a few months on after I stumbled upon this song and I find myself going back to it every now and then. What’s with that?! I can’t quite put my finger on it. Though I must say, I do very much like Robert Smith’s lyrics and vocals and the drums are pretty underrated on this tune, too. Also, I think the music video is pretty nice. It’s a great match with the song if you ask me.
