Spotify’s been doing a stellar job recommending me new and upcoming bands recently. This is my latest find which I’ve taken a big liking to – very similar vibes as when I discovered Split Chain back in 2024. Absolutely brilliant. What a year it’s been for hardcore, grunge and – dare I say – nu-metal. The influx of talents within these genres is enormous. Happy to be able to share as many as I possibly can! Stuff like this genuinely makes my day – nothing beats finding new groups within a genre you love. Bodyweb, by the way, is a bit of a Northern hardcore supergroup, featuring the likes of Louis Hardy of Higher Power, Ben Jones of Pest Control, and Naomi Macleod of Empire State Bastard in the line-up. No wonder ‘deadwire’ hits so hard.
