Another gem I picked up at the office last week, thanks to my colleague for adding this song to the collaborative playlist! I hadn’t heard of this 2018 song by German band UNS before. It makes for a good connection with another German act in the playlist, namely: iedereen, which means ‘everybody’ in Dutch, and that obviously matches well with UNS, meaning: ‘us’ in German. The literal meaning of ‘Internetgold‘ is probably something along the lines of ‘internet’… and ‘gold’… I don’t know, I’m just guessing here, I’m sure you can work that one out yourself. This song’s album, however, is called ‘Alles was wir machen ist Kunst‘, meaning: ‘everything we make is art’, and (hold on tight for this one) is also a great match with another German act in the playlist, namely Danger Dan! The Aachen singer’s album ‘Das ist alles von der Kunstfreiheit gedeckt‘ is featured widely in the Jam of Today spheres, this of course meaning ‘This is all covered by artistic freedom’.
