While we’re on the topic of bands who create stunning album enders (or, just stunning albums in general), Sleep Token certainly seems to know how to do so, too. While albums ‘Sundowning’ and ‘This Place Will Become Your Tomb’ end on a very emotional note in the form of songs ‘Blood Sport’ and ‘Missing Limbs’, follow-up album ‘Take Me Back To Eden’ ends with the more powerful ‘Euclid’, though I personally perceive the song before in ‘Take Me Back To Eden’ the ultimate wrap-up for that specific album. The masked metal band’s latest album ‘Even In Arcadia’ ends with ‘Infinite Baths’: an epic 8:23-minute long piece of music serving as what could be the end of a dramatic film, where the story comes together and the plot has been revealed. It’s the ultimate song on ‘Even In Arcadia’, an album that’s been growing on me ever since its release and of which I can safely say that I thoroughly enjoy it now.
