It’s no secret Black Coast is one of my favourite discoveries of 2025 and I wouldn’t be surprised if former Jam ‘Chains‘ will turn out to be my most listened song of this year. Luckily, it seems there’s way more to come by the metal band hailing from Stoke-on-Trent since ‘HOPELESS’ is their second absolute belter of a release they dropped over the last 6 months. Honestly, I find it difficult to choose which one I like better: their April-release ‘WITHOUT YOU‘ – which also swiftly turned into a favourite of mine – or this latest which I absolutely can’t get enough of either. Overall, Black Coast really turns out to be my 2025-version of Split Chain (who I discovered and took a massive liking to in 2024) and if they follow that route, this band might just become one of the biggest and best in their own respective scene at this moment in time.
