2025 also marked another year of many great discoveries. Of course, over the course of the last 11 months I have already shared many new acts on the blog but even up to as recent as yesterday, I’ve been taking a liking to band I hadn’t listened to before. Take Alpha Male Tea Party, whose fifth album ‘Reptilian Brain’ (October ’25) I played for the first time just yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised by the trio’s raw math rock sound, one that they’ve been making since 2009 already. Never too late to start discovering great music, I suppose.
