Been meaning to share this song for a while now and now that I’m in a mood full of chaotic music, I figured this would be the right time. Honestly, I’d kind of lost track of Hudson Mohawke a bit. After the Scottish DJ released his perhaps somewhat misunderstood album ‘Lantern‘ in 2015, I didn’t really bother checking out much more of his work other than the occasional release he dropped with Lunice as TNGHT. ‘Bicstan’ – off of his 2022 album ‘Cry Sugar’ – fell on my path late last year and I instantly liked it. Perhaps I should see this as a sign to give the renowned experimental electronic producer another try.
