Haven’t listened to Death Lens since they were featured in my 2024 End of the Year special but this brand new song ‘Monolith’ just got pitched to me this morning and I think it’s pretty solid. Just a good, decent rock song. It gave me a well-needed boost on what is yet another cold and snowy day here in The Netherlands. Together with ‘Power‘, ‘Monolith’ makes for one the band’s first releases ahead of their new album ‘What’s Left Now?‘ (out April 24th) and if the rest of the album will sound as fine as this song, I’m willing to give Death Lens another chance.
