Had a great time seeing Rosa Canina live in Amsterdam yesterday! Together with A Plague Of Lighthouse Keepers and Thistle Sifter (who I sadly had to miss out on due to the opening acts running overtime), the Amsterdam based multinational post-rock quartet put on one hell of a show playing most of their 2nd album ‘waiting list‘. Even though having some technical difficulties by ways of guitarist David Gould breaking two (!) strings, replacing them, but eventually having to swap to a different guitar, Rosa Canina blew the crowd away with their impressively skilful performance and it came as no surprise they were my and many others’ highlight of the night.
