When I shared Aerial Salad’s ‘Tied to Pieces of Paper‘ on the blog last September, I didn’t think this seemingly insignificant and somewhat middle-of-the-road (post-)punk band would appear on my radar again so I got pleasantly surprised to see them being announced for 2000trees this year. This week, I gave their 2025-EP ‘Roi De L’Herbe‘ a spin and it struck me as a decent piece of content. The songs seemed pretty enjoyable and I’m sure checking out Aerial Salad at the festival would be a lot of fun. The song that stayed with me most was ‘Inject Your Blood’ which is a raw and unpolished punk song I’d happily play some more, though I can’t guarantee not highlighting this proper funny tune and video ‘King of the Grass‘ sometime in the near future too!
