It’s funny, isn’t it? This album was one of my favourites of 2024 (it ended up in 2nd place!) but after spinning it so much that year, I basically didn’t touch it at all the year after. I feel like this has happened to me before with albums I took such a huge liking to; I might’ve spun ’em a bit too much around the time of release. I suppose it does make it extra enjoyable to pick up on some random songs off of those album again years later, like I did today with ‘Acrylic Fences’, one of Bicurious’ single releases ahead of ‘Your Life is Over Now…’.
