#2883: Geordie Greep – Blues

I noticed I haven’t been staying up to date with the latest music releases recently. Instead, I find myself going back to some classics or my favourite albums of 2025. Or, 2024 even. Ever since Geordie Greep released his solo debut ‘The New Sound’ 1,5 year ago, it’s been quite quiet surrounding the former black midi-frontman. He’s still performing occasionally, like when he played the notorious Windmill in Brixton in January, paying tribute to his former bandmate Matt Kwasniewski-Kelvin who sadly passed away earlier this year. Also, Greep has taken on some production work, such as that for ‘Wor Jackie‘, an awesome new song by Newcastle jazz group Knats – whose drummer and bass player are seen performing in the aforementioned Brixton show. Anyway, today I’m sharing ‘Blues’, a great song off of Greep’s 2024 album, hoping the renowned artist will release some more great new music soon.
