Ever since rediscovering this song (which is about 1,5 years ago now) I find myself going back to it very frequently. Over the course of that time, ‘Something Like Happiness’ has turned into a bit of a comfort song for me. It’s also one of the few songs I’ve been consistently listening to for a long time now without ever skipping it. Quite rare, that is! That reminds me of the time I was still able to use my old iPod Classic every single day. You know, that beautiful little device which was my main source of entertainment, right before I dropped it on a concrete floor and ruined it forever. Ugh! I’m still not fully over it, to be honest. Anyway… my old iTunes was full of the silliest statistics, of which the amount of skips was one of! I’m not quite sure which songs were on top of that somewhat dubious list, but one can ask themselves the question whether it would then even be worth having those specific songs present on the iPod in the first place.
